Air conditioning trainer familiarisation
Identify AC components and operation
Investigate AC trainer operation
Identify refrigerant types
Conduct an AC system performance test
Verify correct operation and maintenance of refrigerant handling equipment
Identify and recover AC system refrigerant
Evacuate and charge AC system
Label & store refrigerant and test recycled refrigerant for non-condensable gases
Inspect the condition of discharged oil
Leak test AC system
Remove and replace AC compressor
Inspect AC condenser for airflow restrictions
Remove and inspect AC system mufflers, hoses, pipes,fittings, o-rings, seals, and service valves
Remove and install receiver/drier or accumulator/drier
Evacuate and charge AC system
Diagnose AC system conditions that cause protection devices (pressure, thermal, and PCM) to interrupt system operation determine necessary action.
